jeremy,i have got my forks apart andwas wondering how you get the rebound and midvalve out of the damper.With the nut and spring slider of,there is a little metal collar crimped on the rod,do you have to machine this off?also have spoken too steve mudford iin australia and he is waiting on the shim stack to arrive ,when you do the mods to the forks is there a mod you do that replaces thebypass valving thats lets too much oil bypass and hense the stiff base valve?can i do this at home as i am familiar with the way the forks work.Cheers Dave
