I just purchased a pair of Devol radiator guards. The install seemed to go just fine. Everything bolted up perfect. However, when I went to put back on the radiator shrouds, the holes would not line up. I noticed that where the guard goes around the radiator there is about a 1/4 inch gap. When stock, the shroud is right up against the radiator. There is no gap. This is causing the shroud to deform. Am I doing something wrong? Is anyone else having this problem. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

I had problems with the fit of my devol rad guards too. They wouldn't even bolt together before I drill and tap some new holes in it. The advantage of devol is that they make the sturdiest guards, but the company would need to check once in a while if their products fit to the bike they intend to.
