checking bikebandits oem clutch breakdown, it shows the outter fiber and the inner fiber that touches the pressure plate and basket as being different part numbers from the rest of the fiber plates. This is odd, havent seen it before. I am used to seeing the middle two metal plates being steel instead of alum on other bikes, but Im wondering what the difference is with these two fiber plates on the outside and inside of the stack? anyone ever notice? Also would you guys pay the extra $ for oem, or just replace with barnett or ebc.?

Im not familiar with the plate question you have but as far as replacing the clutch I would definitely replace the clutch with an aftermarket brand. Most aftermarket clutches are not only cheaper but they tend to hold up better than stock and the stock clutch is way over priced for the quality.
