I bought my bike and the guy told me it had bad compression he gave me a piston to but its to a 89 not my 87... the ring on my piston was stuck in one spot which i took a picture of. I got the ring out sort of easily with a screwdriver so now i already have the ring from the piston thats to the 89, can i just file down the piston where it got the ring stuck and use the same piston? I have a picture of the piston in the 2stroke forum under "87 rm 125 top end issue"
