1998 Honda XR400 info

Greetings everyone.I currently have a bike that im' giving a liitle tlc for a friend. Does anyone know the valve lash for a 98' XR400 by heart or have a manual close by?Thank's,Bill in cold and rainy Ohio.

SNB73, thank's, thats a cool page!Man this thing is guick for being the old style engine!No accelerator pump on the carb but snap's pretty good,I'm impressed.Again,thankyou,Bill.

I picked up 2003XR400 for $700. It needed lots of cleaning and a top end. The bike looked new when I sold it. If it wasn't so heavy I would have kept it. That bike had lots of torque.
