2 or 3 hole?

do 96 rm250's have a 2 or 3 hole reed cage to place the reeds? I have a 96 rm250 and mine has a 3 hole but i just recieved new pro series reeds and they have a 2 hole but they say it is for my year. I have also seen pics on the web of the same reeds that have 3 holes saying they are for my year also. So what is going on here????
