Well I am going to get a either a 2002 KX250 or RM250 for trail riding and motocross riding. I know both the 2002 KX250 and RM250 have alot of bottom-end power but according to Dirt Rider Magazine the 02 RM250 has an unbelivable amount of Bottom power stock and is good for woods riding but with a Flywheel weight the Suzuki becomes much more tractable. I have sit on the KX and RM and the RM feels much better to me than the KX did. so what do you guys think?

I own a 02 RM 250 I am very happy with it. It has a very stong motor and very excellent suspension. I have not ridded a 02 kx but I have ridden other years and the RM has a much lighter agile feel to it. I rode a 01 CR 250 all last year, and so far this bike is much more user friendly. You will not be disapointed. Plus there are some really good deals out there on them if you look.

Both bikes will make good offroad mounts with a few mods. Pick the one that you can get the best deal on, or just pick the color you like.;)

I have an '02 RM250 and I absolutely love it! I put an 11 oz flywheel weight on it as well and it really tones down the hit. It has great low end and would suit most mortal riders perfectly.;)

I picked mine up for $4200 plus shipping.
