I've got a 360 Husky that I bought to ride with my (at the time) 5 & 7 yr olds. Now I know it's an altogether different beast, but the story is similar. Following the tykes in first gear all day gets a little mundane if not difficult. :ride:
I was thinking about getting a little XR150 or maybe a 230, but before I knew what was happening, they were ready for bigger bikes (less than a year), Now that the oldest one is on his new RM65 I can barely keep up with him! Well, relatively speaking. Anyhow, my point is... with the little guys, you can't really afford to think in present terms. Keep your eyes on what lies way ahead, 'cause they'll be there faster than you expect!
So, get what you want to ride and let him catch up. You'll be suprised, I promise.
