I got to put some time on my 400Sx this weekend but noticed that the front end wouldn't stay planted in the corner very well. It seemed top push. My sag is set at 96mm. The terrain was loamy and a little wet. My buddy's YZ 125 with stock tires was sticking to the corners like it was on velcro!!!! I do have the stock tires on it, is that my prob.

Anybody got any ideas.

Thanks for the help in advance

Try positioning i know that KTM's arent the best handling bikes but if you lean the bike more than normal and sit really far forward like on the gas cap you should rail the corners. if that dosent work try some dunlop 756 tires the hook up tough in the corners...let me know how this works..

Try setting sag at 94 mm it will help...the stock bridgestones are crap in the wet also...
Do you give some throttle when cornering??? KTMs love a little throttle in the corners give them some gas and they corner like a cat on carpet !!

Try some Michelin S-12 in wet ,muddy or loamy condition ....they're great on RFS...

Another thing to try is a little more rebound damping on the front end. This may reduce the pushing.

Throw the front tire in the nearest hedge as its dangerous and needs swapping after running in-sorry but i think KTM should get a new tyre supplier. The 200exc that is a dual purpose bike comes with better tyres than the sx range.

I've got a set of Applied 18mm offset triple clamps that would fit your bike and improve turning. New in box & never mounted for $225.

The stock tire has been disposed of and I hope to test everybody's ideas this weekend.

Thanks
