I think from all of the feedback that I am going to get a '03 450 exc. I have read many forums about the 520 or 525 being too much power for tight trails and low throttle situations, so from this I assumed that 450 was the way to go. However it just occurred to me that at 240 lbs., I'm no lightweight. Perhaps the 525 would be better suited to my weight or do I really weigh that much more that I need the extra cc's? I want the 450 for the same reason that most people want it, smooth low end and midrange power, and I didn't want the 525 for the same reason some people don't, too much power for low speed situations. So, would the 525 for my weight be like the 450 for a 185-200 pound person? Couple other questions:
1. Is the 525 also California EPA "green sticker approved."
2. From the KTM website, it appears that the 525 is exactly the same bike as the 450 except for the 95mm bore. Is this correct?
