Where's the best place to get this magic part for my '96 360, and which needle should I run with it?
Elevation-3000--5000', low humidity, temps 65-80 degrees.
Boysen Rad valve, FMF Fatty/ Turbine Core.
I would try a single taper needle like the CEK first. I personally never liked that FMF fatty pipe myself. The stock pipes are great, the only pipe I have found that is better is a Doma pipe. I ride the woods with simular conditions and I run: 45 pilot, 180 main, CEK (3rd clip), 1 1/2 AS. Check out http://www.jdjetting.com/ .
The '96 360's NEED a pipe the stocker had the stinger WAY undersized, the FMF Fatty is agood choice as is the Gnarly. But the question was about the slide right? I got mine at my local shop :scream: $$$! not really spendy becuase they had a few laying around and gave me the same price as CPW. The other option is to cut yours down or send it out and have it done. I didn't because I wanted to have the stocker available if I wanted or needed it. YES it makes a very big improvement. :)
