76 husky 125 ?

my 1976 husqvarna 125 cr has a clattering sound coming from somewhere in the motor i know it has worn teeth on the clutch plates and im not sure how much compression its supposed to have but it starts right on the third kick.the kickstarter spring is also broken so since i couldnt find a new one or fix the old one i rigged up my own on the outside could the gear to the kickstarter be making this noise?oh and i got the bike like this in a trade so i didnt abuse it:)

if it is more of a knocking sound than it could be the crank bearings and as for those problems you should get them fixed they wont help and as for parts try ****

it sounds more like a clattering noise or a screeching noise not a knocking and what did u mean by **** ?

It could also be your shifter dogs or gear sliders. It's still split the case time. Do a proper rebuild on this old girl, she deserves it!
