Helping a buddy here, looking for answers to this question:
After running his 87 RM250 at WFO for a few seconds it will cut out, almost like it shuts down, then it will come back strong for a few seconds, and then cut out again. My only though is that it uses all the fuel in bowl of the carb, then when it cuts out it has a chance to fill back up a little so that it can continue to run for another short burst. Any way to check this (besides inspecting petcock, fuel lines, carb jets...), or any other ideas on what's going on? TIA.
