I believe you could make it work. Bottom end is quite similar from 88 to 89. I'm not for sure though, so don't blame me if it doesn't work!

I can't imagine a kdx really needing a FWW though, honestly. Is it too snappy for ya? Maybe jetting issues or KIPS valves not working right.

no,its not to snappy, im just looking into things i can get for it :)

its a nice change from a 125 2stroke that i was riding before,

alot less snappy.

I might gear it down tho so i can put around in the really tight stuff a little more



maybe from 13/48

to

12/50

do you think that would make it have a nice low first gear that is basicly to low to use but is there when you need it?

because that what i want: )

Yes, that would do it. 12/48 would probably be sufficient for that, actually. Just swap the sprocket and see how you like it, since sprockets are cheap.

Flywheel weights can be handy for putting around in tight stuff, worth a try I'm sure.

Threads in the middle of the flywheel? no it doesnt,it just goes on a tapper. there are threads on the middle of the shaft though,thats were the bolt goes
