91' KDX, what to tune?

i have a 91' KDX 200 and since i bought it (2 years ago) i havent really done too much to it, i think the carb needs a good cleaning but i was wondering what i should do to prevent things from breaking. I like this bike ALOT and i want to keep it for awhile now.
