There is an updated flapper for this model.
The oe ones would break in the middle and hit the piston.
The sub port pins are timed on the pinion with punch marks.
Line the punch mark on the pinions with the punch mark on the flap.
There is a push rod adjustment as well but I don't remember how to do that one.
I also used a govenor spring from a 93 mx250 and was rewarded with better throttle response.
