A new 250....

i havent ridden motocross since 2002 and i havent been paying to much attenion to dirtbikes...I've been caught up in all the quad stuff. I want to get back into racing now and i used to ride an 02 honda cr 250. My question is....can the 2 strokes still run with the 4 strokes? and which bikes are running good now?? as in brand...whose making the top 250s

Yeah a 250 can run w/a 450, depends on the rider skill mostly..

The yz 250 has been getting good reviews the past few years.. You may beable too find a left over 05 or even an 06 a a great price..

Top 250's are the RM and YZ going away. They can still run with the 4 strokes with a good rider. You will work harder, but they are much closer than the 125 class where it is extemely tough to compete.

Try to ride both if you can and see what you like.
