Alpinestar Vector or Fox Forma Pro

Trail rider.

I tried out both these boots in the store. They were both very comfortable (Vector more so than Forma Pro for me).

I have some questions...
Anyone know about the stability of the Vectors from personal use or friends? They seem a little weak concerning ankle stability. The top velcro strap was incredible!

I liked the Forma Pro but some of the buckles (top & bottom) would not stay closed/shut. Is this typical? Is it just me (long feet & skinny calves)?

I have the Vectors. I like them but I dont know if they offer the best support. The sole is very sturdy and wont bent but the ankle support isn't the best. I've never hurt my feet while wearing them however.

PS. Where in BC do you live?
