Does anyone know of an alternate plug for my 1997 RM125. My dealer says I should use an NGK R6918B-8 that cost $36. I told him I already bought the bike and I just needed a plug ... any suggestions? Help :bang:

You can use a BR8EG but the plug is fitted for a reason, they resist detonation better than a cheap plug, if you run a cheap plug run decent fuel.

I always ran a BR8ES, you can get ten of them from a pepboys autostore for like $17, never had any problems

The diff between a EG and ES is the electrode. The EG is smaller and will resist fouling better. It cost a little more, but still not bad.
