Another Central OK Rider

Great to find this forum and a bunch of folks with knowledge about the local trails. Been on the street since I was 16 but havent been on dirt for some time... Just bought a new 05 450X and my son is on a XR 100... Next Sat the plan is to head to Draper lake, any tips for the two new guys out there?

Would love to know your thoughts and opinions on the trails at Draper, I hear they are great.

Great, I will be there 99.9% sure, the only thing stopping me is if my bike doesn't come in this week... I was assured though that it would be in by Thurs maybe tomorrow........ there will be 4 of us, my best friend just purchased a Suzuki, my 450 and our boys both on XR100's

I will keep my eyes peeled... Will will probably be in a 90's model light blue chevy pulling a black trailer.... lots of chrome on the truck............. All red Honda's with one odd ball zuk in the middle.... :)

Are they closing Draper, I keep seeing messages on the Internet about it...

I will be looking for you. They closed down the old riding area on the north side of the lake in 2005. The new riding area is very nice though and the trails are in good shape. Now let's just hope for some rain so it won't be so dusty.
