Currently, I ride a '99 250EXC which has never let me down during many Texas C.C. 's, Enduros, trips to Taylor Park, and endless miles of trail riding.
I'm ready to trade off for a 2002 250EXC however, thoughts of post purchase dissonance (regret after buying the same thing), have me wondering.

I'm thinking of a 380EXC but was wondering about the vibration felt through the bars compared to a 250. My group usually does 80 mile days at Colorado every year and I still want to be able to get out of the motel room bed the next morning.

Vibrator?

I ride the 300 but my buddy rides the 380, he claims there isn't alot more vibration compared to the 300. He rides Taylor Park religously throughout the summer. I don't think I would let it stop you. Sorry I have no comparison to the 250.

Taylor Park huh? Sounds like fun. Thinking of being there in a couple weeks!!!:D

At your size and level, you will handle the 380 fine. It has no more vibration than my 300. I went from a 380 to a 300. The 380 is an awesome bike, just too much for me. I am a lot more fresh after a long ride on my 300 than the 'ole 380.
