I am not going back to a MX track. That's the deal I cut with my wife to keep riding. I got a broken elbow, wrist April 15. Cast / pins off in two weeks and I am just sorta/kinda starting to wonder about spots to ride. A guy at my wife's job said Marshall Creek near Grapevine, was a good spot but he does not ride any more.

Anyone up on that area?

Thanks

Haven't been since they cut it in half and started charging. Used to meet there every Sat at 6:30 with 2 or 3 buddies and we'd ride whoops for a few hours. (Hey Thump, does that explain why the only thing I seem to be even marginally fast in is the whooped out stuff?). Used to get busy around 9AM which was my queue to leave.

Was a fun place to brush up on some skills, haven't been in a really long time though.

Nocona MX before noonish. Oh, but that's an MX track.

Its a little west of FW but I hear Rip-Char in Weatherford is nice. One trail, one direction, should only get run over from behind that way!!!!!!!!

Tried Rip Char before injury. It's pretty slow tight muddy rocky woods. More sand/jumps would sure be nice.

Where is Red River Dirt Trails located?

Thanks for teh replies!

If you have time come up to Red River Dirt Trails and ride with us! No mx, just trails.

Yeah, but he is specifically looking for somewhere where he "won't get run over again". Didn't you have a little incident there?

Seriously, its the best trailriding anywhere remotely near to here.

CLICK THIS

You'll here it generically referred to as Muenster.

Yes, had a small mishap... Head on to be exact. I was riding fairly quick and knocked a 6+' 250lb guy 5+' off his bike :yikes: . I've ridden 1,000+/- miles out there in the last several years and this was my first "incident" with another rider. Back to norm now :ride: .

Several of us will be out there Memorial weekend...come on out. I'll be in a red/tan suburaban with a 26' trailer behind it.

Heh, going to be awhile. Had an mri tuesday on my shoulder. Looks like a rotator cuff, but have not talked with the Dr. yet to verify. Lord, I sure hope not. This broken wrist and elbow are a little tough already. Oh well. Just a bit down about it all.

When I get well I hope to make it up there. Sound like a great place to ride.

Thanks
