Asterisk Upgrade

I purchased one of your early braces, back in July '01 for my good knee. (Have a CTI2 for the wonky one!) Anyways, even w/all the growing pains of this being one of your first ones, I love the Asterisk & you guys have been great w/replacement cables etc.

I'm curious if the new versions carbon fiber cables & any other upgrades will apply to my brace. And/or do you guys have any kind of trade-in deal.
Any info would be appreciated.

The cables are free, but a full on upgrade that replaces everything but the frames is a hundred bucks. Call me at 800-459-2999 X205, I just want to ask you about a few parts on your braces.

What is the turn around on that?

I think I have the old hinge system and wouldn't mind upgrading.

My braces are fairly new. How do I know if I have the old style cables or the new ones. ?

The new ones have been implimented 6 weeks ago, if you look at your cables now, the new ones are red and are fiber, the old ones are grey/steel looking. If you have the old ones, just call 800-459-2999, we'll send you out the new ones.

Truspode, the turn around on a refurb is 1 to 2 days max after we get them.

I called a couple weeks ago because I busted the last set of steel cables and the new red fiber setup was in my mailbox the next day. That's fast turnaround! Thanks.
