Sounds great... will have to put the skid plate on the YZF and try to make it... Haven't ridden anything too tough since Tres Ritos in New Mexico in '95. I hope that work permits and i can come!

It is federal ground, so I would recommend it-although I have seen bikes down there w/out them (mine included last spring). Right now we are up to about 20-22 riders. Better join in on the fun!:)

Since everyone is staying in Fayetteville, you guys need to hit Dickson Street. Fayetteville is a collage town ya know. ;)

Yeah I will be there. Fayetteville is only 30 minutes away. Wait a minute, I thought you were talking about Dickson Street! I'll make it to the ride also, its about a hours drive for me from what I'm told. I've lived here three years and haven't rode White Rock yet. I'm looking forward to riding with everyone. The best part is I don't have to get up at o-god thirty and drive two or three hours to ride!

Since I didn't get to meet up with you and SWEich at the poker run in Sedalia I thought I might be able to tag along on this one. Never been to White Rock, but I've heard alot about it. Hopefully the spousal unit will let me go.....I kinda roosted her on accident with a cowpie from the pit area. :0) I think she'll get over it, though. Do you know anyone who might be looking for a bunk buddy?

Check with KDX220rm-I don't know if he is bunkin w/ anyone. You might check w/ BSwift, SWEich and some of the others up above. Big Lou has a bunkee, and Blue Thunder is putting up w/ my funk for the trip. I've got some Topeka buddies going, one or two of them may be looking for somebody to share a room with. I'll let you know in a day or two.

Well, I just can't stand it, been at work 13 days straight including a couple of double shifts. Been checkin' out the responses to the White Rock trip and decided that me 'n da' boy are gonna have to hit the trail Sunday 11/11. Gettin' off work at 4, on the road at 5pm, Fayetteville for a late dinner and some sleep, on the bike at daylight tomorrow. :cool:

White Rock Ride Report

I am sure hopong to be it depends on the work situation. The company I manage is very busy and I have the crews working every Saturday so I work as well. Sunday a "definate possibilty"?.
The weather was excellent yesterday. There were quite a few hunters(all had 4 wheelers). Didn't see many on the trails although a couple of hunters did park their pick ups right in the trails. We rode the blue loop, quite a few side trails, rode around Whiting rode and down pipeline. The few off of riding rode to the south is gorgeous. There were 4 of us who all rode a brisk pace yet were able to enjoy the scenery.Trails in good shape(couple of nasty mudholes around mile 25) and a couple of gnarly hills. My sons first ride on the 80cc proved he was ready even though his stubby legs can't reach the ground(very short 12 year old fast kid). :cool:

I just recieved a invite from kdx220rm. Im going to look into making this trip. My bike riding skills might be a little rusty but joing up with this group sounds like a blast. I'll know by the beginning of next week.

Looks like the KY crew isn't going to make it. We've got thanksgiving to go to in Casseville and Neosho MO this weekend, and I'm not sure I can handle making the trip twice in a weeks time. It's possible we could be a last minute show up, but I doubt it. Let me know when the next one will be, and I will plan for and around it. I would like to ride with you guys...even if BigLou is gonna be there.;) I can't say too many bad things about Lou. He's a good guy......Did I just say that??:)

Anyone going to be in that area this weekend? I can take my bike to thanksgiving dinner with me and get some riding in.
