"Australian" WR 250?

Can anyone shed some light on a bike for me?

I contacted a guy in locally who advertised a '98 WRYZ 250, the following is an exert for the email I got back from him:

The bike is an Australian WR which was a YZ with a WR package. It has an 18 inch wheel, heavier fly wheel, lighting coil with a wide ratio transmission.

I'm in the market for a 250 2-stroke, and either a WR or YZ would be good, in fact a YZ with the WR lights would be a dream. But I've never heard of an Australian bike.

In the picture of the engine from that website, is that a frame slider to protect the pipe? That might be something worth adding to my CR. It might protect my feet some from getting clipped with rocks and stumps, too.
