Bearing ordering?

Hi,

I am planning a complete rebuild of my already torn down husaberg engine and have no idea how to go about ordering bearings. I could go OEM for some but not all and I think I would rather just go to a timken retailer and order everything I need in one go. My question is, what pertinent info am I going to need to make sure I am ordering the right bearings? Is it as simple as inside/outside diameter and width? Along with a general idea of the bearing type or will I need to have more info on hand?
