Please help, i need a new pipe.
What is the best pipe for CR250 -00 and why ?
I like the original low and mid but id like
a little more power at high rpm:s, or
just an over-all powerboost.
I was very happy with the FMF SST pipe and shorty silencer on my '00 CR250.
I tried the Pro Circuit pipe and silencer combo first and definitely like the FMF setup better. It felt more powerful everywhere, especially top end. I did have to rejet to get the best performance.

I also thougt FMF SST is best but i have no experience
on my own since i never changed the original pipe.
Many riders use ProCircuit but i was not sure it is the best pipe. What jetting did you use with the SST and shorty ?

I had the V-force reed cage and FMF SST combo. 1500 ft above sea level. I ran a 45 pilot, stock needle in the 2nd groove and a 175 main, I also ground the slide .5 mm. I used a 105 octane mixture of race gas and pump gas. This combo worked well for my area, it may vary in yours.
