Did I read somewhere that the Bethel trails were closed ? Earlier this year my neighbor and I went ATVing there. Best I recall there were alot of bike trails visible. Friend, Son and I are in just getting started riding wood bikes and are looking for different scenery. (We live in Mobile).

Any suggestions ??

Thanks

Everything I can find says it's closed. If you go to the national forest website, they don't even list a description for it anymore. I only went there once and didn't like it. It was so tight you couldn't get out of 2-3 gear. Very sandy, tight single track. One forum I found said it was closed temporarily to do repairs, but others say all riding areas in De Soto are closed. Bethel, Rattlesnake Bay, and Tiger Creek. There is a new private area called Red Creek something or other near Bethel. I think it's $10 a day and they have memberships. Only open on weekends. Hope this helps.
