We will be racing on Sunday. I think Phil might be racing 250C, and I'll be in 125C. Anyone else going to be there? YZMan are you going to race D or 250C for the fun of it? Last race!

I'm not sure if we are camping again. If we are we'll be tenting it up on the hill. It's so much quieter up there. We only have to deal with the Pit Racing idiots.

Yea Ill be there. I think I am camping. I hope to be racing 250 C. Yep Hoping......I am already making excuses :) I have my front brake over at the dealer right now to try and get a seized bolt out of the master cylinder.

The front brakes are mush. I need to bleed them and change the fluid but the teeny little screw that holds the master cylinder cover on is stripped out and I cant get it out. So hopefully the dealer can hook me up. If not I may be spectating.

I could race the X in the 125c class or 35+ class but I would get smoked racing that out there.

It's okay, I get smoked in 125C too...but I hate riding with 9yr olds on 85s. So until the women's class somehow gets bigger, I'll ride with the boys. Probably be good for me! Phil will be (I think) racing my dad's CR250 or my cousins YZ250. We're a little hesitant to race it with the shifter shaft being screwed up. He's so good to me, he fixed my bike before he even thought about fixing his.

Actually probably won't be smoked as bad in 250C as you might be in 35+. Just my thoughts though :) Hope to see you there!

lol Probably can! I seem to fall apart on race days. I have awesome form when we practice, then come race day I fall apart! Unless you don't do any jumps then I'll pass ya on those! :nener:

Woo Hoo

My bike is fixed!! Phil put the new clutch plates in Monday night. Tuesday we went riding. Took a few laps to get used to it, but my CR is running great!! So hopefully I won't have any problems at Big Air on Sunday. Oh yeah...I guess it is true things happen in threes... first was the oil seal gasket (and top end replaced at same time), then I fried the clutch, then last night FLAT front tire...oh well tubes are cheaper than the other two things!

We'll be at the track Saturday afternoon. This week we'll be in a white Durango, black enclosed 6x12, my bike and a YZ250 #83. My cousin is letting Phil borrow his bike to race in 250C. Plus his truck and trailer came as a "package deal". Mostly because I can't tow a trailer with my Explorer until I re-wire the trailer lights...I will be on kit #3...Maybe I should just go to U-Haul or something and let them wire it. We'll be parked up on top of the hill again. Much quieter and not so many noisy generators.

Bummer. I got the YZ400 fixed tonight. I have breaks. I even put new #'s on it.

Can you believe that I actually got the clear covers on the side panels, over the #'s without a single wrinkle. If you know the curve of the side panels on the YZF's you know how much of an accomplishment that is. I was pretty proud and amazed that I was able to do that. Took me about 1.5 hours but I got it.

So I guess I have no excuses now not to race. Im in.

Well, now that our camping trip has been canceled, I think me and the 2 boys will be up Friday night. I'm not going to race as the wife is staying home this time and I will have both the little ones. I will have to leave Saturday about 4:00, for a wedding reception Saturday night. So no Sunday for me.

Hey MXgirl...I looked your our rig out there Sat night but couldn't find any Hondas out there with #230 on it.

Heck if you raced 125c Saturday you were probably lined up at the gate with me. I was in 250C.

Here is a few Picts of Digger #30 at the start. You would almost think this was the same moto but this was 3 differant motos over 3 days. Kid has got to learn how to keep that front end down.

Hey we were there. I saw your truck and stuff, but never saw you. I saw a YZ loaded in it though. So I didn't think you raced at all. If I would have paid attention I would have taken pics.
I ended up not racing at all. I haven't been feeling well since Thursday. Today I kept getting dizzy and lightheaded...so I didn't race. Phil raced 125C and non-current. His brother raced 125C also. Phil finished 4th in non-current and 6th in 125C. So not a bad day for him.
We kept our bikes in the trailer until this morning. I was the lone Honda in the group.
How did Digger do? I saw a trophy on the pop-up, but no you or Digger at the truck.
How did 250C go?

I only raced Saturday. I got smoked like I figured I would. Finished 7th overall out of 9. But I had fun. Its been a long time since I have lined up at the gate. Felt good.

Bren got a 3rd over all Sat and a 7th Sun. Sun wasn't his day as there was some fast movers out there and everyone was gunning for a win.

All in all we had fun.

That's all that matters is having fun. Hopefully we'll get to do more races there next year. I want to try to make some practice days and work on a couple of jumps. I want to be able to do finish line next year, barn double, and if I can work up enough nerve...Killer...

Okay so how do you do a start on an automatic bike? Just hold the throttle and the brakes? I forgot to figure that out when I did the pit bike race...not that it matters now, but just curious...

Shift into 1st and hold the shifter up. rev it up and let go of the shifter. When the shifter is held up it acts as a clutch. Let go of it and you are off.
