Howdy all,
My wife has finally accepted that the security she has riding a XR 80 does not make up for the lack of power and has agreed to step up a few notches in power. The 250s are bigger than she would agree to ride because of frame size, and hight so I am guessing I am looking for a 100 to 150. I am only interested in 4 strokes and have been looking at the TTR 125, and the XR 100. Does any one have any suggestions? We live in the Rockies and all our riding will be done above 4000 ft.

Thanks

TTR-125L . Great size, nice move up from the 80. Not too heavy, electric start available.

Welcome to the site. Now get on in there and register! :)

Okie is correct, the TTR 125 LE is just the ticket. Once she gets used to the power, you can drop a BBR 150 on it and end up with a really interesting little bike. My daughter rides the one I own.

I would go for the crf150 because now that she knows how to ride, it will take her a little longer to grow out of the power of the 150 rather than the 100 or 125.The 150 I believe is electric start as well.Plus it is a HONDA. :)

Unless they added e-start this model year the 150 is still kick start. I haven't been on one, but my BBR TTR with the 150 kit will absolutely scream.

You can change the swing arm to BBR and get 1 inch of additional height and 1 1/2 inch of additional wheelbase.

Blue with BBR black is GOOD! :nener:
