Black River Falls, WI closed single track..

Because of a lawsuit from an injury during last falls enduro, the county forest service has closed all single track trails in the area. This has also caused the cancellation of this years enduro.

During our enduro last weekend, some of the Wisconsin riders were passing out letters to sign and send to the people who could change this ruling. I didn't get a chance to get a letter, but I did a little hunting and was able to get all 3 letters as word files.

If you would like me to email you the files, please let me know. They are very well done and the addresses (snail mail) are right on the letters.

Everyone in the Midwest needs to help out on this one as it's a huge trail system that we have now been turned away from.

As a matter of fact, I don't know why it was a secret. I had heard about it a couple months ago from Greg Moss, a long time member of Forest City Riders. I sent an email to the Park Service, very politely asking for infomation on the subject, and all I was sent was a riding map for the area. No other info was sent...

As you see, the letters are well written and to the point. I hope this does some good.

Help Reopen the Trails in Jackson County!

Just received this via email. The Madison Motorcycle Club and other interested parties are trying to build up a ground-swell of support leading up to a Jackson Co. Forestry & Parks Commission meeting sometime in August. They plan on having representation at that meeting and hopefully can get them to discuss the closing of these trails. If you liked these trails and want your voice heard, help them out!
