You can't twist the throttle if you're on braking bumps going into a turn. But, the rest is correct. Try to keep that front wheel as light as possible to keep the bars from swapping. Maybe, try to find a line around them. If they're really bad, you'll have to do your slowing down before you get to them.

Depends on your ball size and where the braking bumps are in relation to the corner... Not to mention the fact that he only said braking bumps, he didn't say they were in a corner.. He could also be referring to acceleration bumps...

You just contradicted yourself. You better believe you can grab a handful of throttle to jump through real bad breaking bumps! Adjust your speed accordingly before to be able to attempt this. Ever been to Redbud? If you have to ride through them be aware of not abusing the front brake,a stoppie comes to mind. Adjusting for track conditions happens every lap, it separates the fast from the floundering! Anything that slows down your laptime must be conquered, till you get old and fragile! Being able to control blasting into breaking bumps and acceleration bumps is just like whoops, you need a bag of experience and big kahonas!

Suspension setup is critical as well.
