my friend borke the threaded area where the clutch spring screws into. would it be ok if he rode w/o the one he broke or should he remove the one across from it to even the pressure?
I think you should choose c) - none of the above.
You cannot ride with one clutch spring missing, nevermind 2 springs missing. The fact 1/5th or 2/5th of the pressure needed would be missing, the clutch plates would be slipping all the time and would burn in no time. Time for a new clutch boss.
