Can I bypass the oil inj. and use pre-mix

I am rebuilding a 81 KAW. ke125 for a friend.the oil inj. pump went out.can I block it off or remove it. And switch to pre-mix.

yes u can but u will still need oil in the oil bottle for the injection to lube the oil pump gear once the bottle is filled u wont need to add oil just change it every 6 months or so
alot of people that own jetskis have these oil pumps they use "block off's" they simply rip the pump and guts out install a flat plastic stopper than run it premixed it is 100% better running premix as u are guranteed not to seize your motor from lack of oil if propper amount added

I'm not familiar with the set up on that model, but you have to make sure that oil is going to get to all of the parts that the oil lines are currently feeding. If there is only one line feeding the intake manifold, then there should be no problem.

You will have to rejet the carb. Probably one or two steps richer on each circuit.
