I have a 95 KDX 200 with a Pro Circuit pipe. I have had problems with the bike for a while now. It hasn't been reving out well and seems to have a dead spot just before it breaks into the power band. I cleaned the air filter which was very dirty(I didn't put any foam filter oil on as I didn't have any), moved the needle setting to standard and adjusted on the air screw. This helped a lot. I then went and bought Bell - Ray filter oil,put it on the filter and squeased it out and put it back. It now seems to be starving the bike of air as it is not as responsive and spluters a high revs.
I suspect that the carb needs attention. Does anyone have the jet sizes that I should be using as well as any good suggestions to get this machne working properly. ( I have got the standard tail pipe on. )

Yes

Have you done anything to your air box lid? If not then either remove it or drill holes in it to allow more air. Try that. If jetting is stock then your are more than likely too rich.
