clutch problems!!! help ASAP.!

my 1990 yamaha yz 125 the tention on the clutch pull on the handle part was rediculus <SP?> is it suppost to be that hard to pull in, after like 2 min my hand cramped. i dont know how to fix it and i need help!! i want to go to the mx track next wednessday for the first time. it was so tight that the cable snapped after a little bit. so after i buy a new clutch cable what do i do? why is it so tight? any help is greatly appreciated! did you try adjusting it? was the cable getting pinched anywhere? is the cable routed correctly?

im not even sure, all i know is that its verry tight to pull, no kinks or anything. is it suppost to be tight? how could i loosen the tention?

also, does anyone know where i could get a 1990 Yamaha yz125 clutch cable????
