clutch questions, i think

just rebuilt the motor on my 95 ktm 300 exc, i adjusted the clutch like the repair manual said, and now when i pull the clutch lever in and put the bike in gear, the motor bogs. it did this before i rebuilt the motor also. i double checked to make sure the clutch was adjusted properly and it is. does any one have any suggestions like raising the idle

does the basket have grooves wore in it? where the plates slide in-if so file them smooth again-
if a basket gets grooves wore in it the plates will drag,and do what your saying

My bike does something close, it jumps a little or dies when I put it into first. I was told the springs in the clutch need to be replaced so I replaced the full clutch.
