i have a 96 honda cr250r i laid it down not to long ago it was a hard crash but everything seemed fine i road it for about another hour. got home and then the bike would not go ... you can release the clutch you can feel it kinda want to do somthing but then you sit there and nothing ......can anyone help ... ive never worked on a bike ... have a good book on it just wanted tips

Sounds like the clutch is not engaging. Check your clutch cable from the lever to where it enters the case. During the crash the clutch cable housing may have jumped out of the perch adjuster or its popped up out of the case. Not allowing it to engage.

If you have put a big kink in the cable during the crash sometimes the inner cable kink and outer sheath kink will fit snuggly together and not want to move, just as if you have not let the cluch out. Happened to me with a throttle cable who's kinks fitted together nicely when flat out, not good.
