Cool little temp guage

Does anybody know where to get one of the cool little temp guage things thats on the side of the cylinder on this bike? It looks really cool.

I've got a pack of those out in the shed. They come in different heat ranges. I think my dad picked them up at a hardware store.

Does it work very good? Whats the temp range? I havent been able to find any around here yet, but im still looking.
