Cr 250 Motor In A 125 Frame

Hi, I have an 03 CR 125 that I would like to try and put a 250 motor into. I have got it all done up and can't see myself getting rid of the frame and all, but I would love to have that 250 power. Any input would be great!! Thanks in advance!

It should be possible as service honda stuffed a cr500 motor in a cr125 frame. :yikes:

You are probably looking at having aluminum welding done for the mounts and possible radiator mods. Airbox to carb and exhaust mounting may be an issue too.

Thats the most I can offer.

It will be far easier and more logical to buy a 250 and sell your 125. Most of your 125 fenders, numbers, seat, etc etc will fit on an 02-07 250.
