I've been asking my friend about diffrent oils and what he's found good for his 2 stroke. He told me pennzoil, but i thought that was a 4 stroke oil...i questioned him and he said that the 2 strokes require 3 diffrent types of oil/fluid. The reason you mix gas and oil is because the 2 strokes run at much higher RPMs, he said. He said thats why even the small 2 strokes have a radiator. He also said i need a 4 stroke oil for the rest of the motor, obveously. But he also said that you need to put a diffrent lube for the gear box.

Is this true?

(i was planning to give my bike a full inspection and do the regular maintence this week)

Seriously, you mix the gas and oil because thats how a 2 stroke engine gets lubricated.
Check Forward Motion for an understanding and lots of useful info.
Premix for the engine
Gear oil, motor oil, or trans fluid for gear box.
No 3rd oil needed
