Hi all,
I am putting a new replacement stock clutch kit into my '03 CR250. I am wondering if the three notches along the outside edges of the friction plates need to line up in any specific order? When I took the plates out they appeared to be random. The front plates had three lined up, the back had three lined up, and the middle two seemed random. I have the service manual and it does not say anything about this. It only discusses the order of the plates in terms of alternating friction and alum/steel plates. Any ideas? Does it even matter?
Thanks,
Mike
