Moved the FIRST of three loads from Colorado to New York to the farm we bought. ( Bought the farm? ). What a haul! I have to drive back to Colorado this weekend and then do it again! Have to haul the shop out this next trip. Then back again to get equipment. Maybe one more after that.

Anyone need somethingmoved from the New York area to Colorado......I'm going anyway!

These trips make a person wish for that "Beam me up Scotty button!

:scream:

Many people out here in New York can't understand WHY someone would move back. Got to tell you the folks here in New York are SO much more freindly than the area we are leaving. Already had neigbors come over and folks volunteer to help out in a variety of ways....

of course it has rained for the last three days straight.

Anyone else make a cross country move?

I made the move from Colorado to Pa about 15 years ago. That's a long drive, about 1500 miles. How far is the trip for you?

Ever consider using a moving company? I know they can get expensive, but 3 trips? Thats insanity. Let them do all the work, a nice 42' trailer would probably haul 90% of your things....

Good luck with the rest :)

Hucker if only it were that simple...The first trip was my wife driving a 32 ft horse trailer loaded with four horses, and all that tack. I was driving a 26ft U-Haul dragging a car trailerwith out car. This was the house hold stuff. Life begins for the rest of the familiy out here now. The rest is the business.

Next trip the shop and one tractor with implements.

Next trip a backhoe and other dirt pushing stuff.

Next and last a dump truck.:)

Turns out its cheaper to haul than sell and replace with stuff out here. Have a lot to do out here on this old farm and need all that equipment.:o
