Just about have chain streatched as far as she will go. I took good care of the damn thing too. Maybe if I got off(way off) the throttle every now and then, I'd be ok. How about a D.I.D., any of you did a D.I.D.?
With chain you get what you pay for. A cheap DID will be miserable in the dirt. A DID X ring will be probably as good as you will get. Mine is lasting well despite lots of mud use. Buy new sprockets at same time of course. Only ever lube it with the slime scraped of the backs of hand caught eels in springtime. :D
have a d.i.d. x-ring chain and it is great. got it at http://www.rockymountainatv.com/home.asp?sid=0001171449 for about 70 bucks. well worth it. one thing you want to look for is tensile strength, the higher the stronger. the chain i bought is very strong and i have yet to take it up.
