The track had deep ruts and many of the obstacles were designed to take a rider out of their rhythym and to punish. I enjoyed watching the riders cope with the rough track. Sort of an outdoor national preview.

My guess is RC might have a practice track that is at least as nasty. He clearly can ride that sort of track better than anyone else on the planet. Maybe better than anyone ever.

RC really made a statement with that performance.

Rc does very well on these muddy tracks. The track in Salrt Lake City last year was very wet. He ran away from everyone.

He does most of the time, but I think he is an excellent mud rider.

I'm getting 'fatigued' seeing all these posts about how Reed had a faster lap than RC. B.S.!!! What's happening, is you have a nearly perfect performance from RC, strategically placing himself out front early (because, yes--his talent/experience cumulative is greater than Reed's.... :silly: ) As a result, Reed, being 2nd 'fastest' in the field, is busting his nads trying to catch RC, who's out there cruising and remaining quasi-comfortable.

You can bet that if RC was behind Reed, he'd be putting in laptimes that were much faster than Reed's. Has it happened? Yes it has.

Criminy! The best rider wins the race...makes sense to me. :silly:

I agree nephron,next time don't be so subtle(sledgehammer).

RC and Bubba only seem to show their real speed when they need it. Pontiac last year, the few times he fell this year. Just like bubba when he goes from last to second. :worship:

LOL, neph! One other thing we should all quit whining about " If only (insert anyone other than RC here) would get a good start THEN we would see some racin'". For one thing when RC gets a bad start, (rare) he overcomes it. But my main point, STARTING IS PART OF MX. Part of being the best rider is being the best starter and if it gives you the right to cruise a few laps because you are that far ahead, so much the better. :debil:
