At this track I ride at there are these deep ruts that head up to this jump. I can't clear the jump because the ruts scare me so I can't pin it. Well Rut's and I have never been friends. I always get in them and I get bucked off the bike. How do most of you handle ruts the best?

The key is

The key is not looking at the rut. Look past the rut and you will not have problems. This works in corners, too. Look at where you want to go and the bike will go there. Look at your front tire, and you're on the ground.

one thing to add here

KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE PEGS.

don't play canoe and think you have "outriggers"

that should help your balance also
