Does PMB end cap with silent insert rob power?

Although there is not yet a noise problem in my riding area, I'm concerned with the noise my 450 CRF 03 makes even with the stock pipe so I'm considering putting a Pro Moto Billet end cap with silent insert on my bike but at the same time, I would not like it to rob power. So what's the experience of those who ride with this setup? Is the reduction in noise really noticeable and what about the power (low, mid and top)?

I only have a puny Wr250f and it does cut the power. With your 450 you have plenty to spare. You can have the spark arrester with the pmb unit and run with the insert or not. It is well made unit and I have had no problems.

If you want to shell out some money the "Q" exhaust from FMF is claimed to produce a sound limit that passes the rules.(I believe it rates at 93db) Although for our bike it is $329.00. At the same time what is that money if it allows you to continue the use of your favorite riding area?
