Done the street... now onto dirt!

Hi!

My name's Janet and as of last week I am the proud (new) owner of a 2007 Yamaha TTR230. I have ridden street for 4 years now, starting out on a 1996 Kawasaki EX500, and now a 2005 Yamaha R6. I'm a fan of Yamaha... can you tell? lol.

Have only taken the TTR out in the bf's front yard after picking it up from the shop and will be taking it out this weekend for my first real dirt experience.

Looking forward to chatting tips and tricks with some or all of you and possibly meeting in the future!

Oh, and just wondering are there any other members on this forum from Vancouver Island area? Not sure where this forum originates from... but have posted a ride for this weekend at the Cassidy Coal Mines, on islandriders.ca for those interested!
