I was racing a local mx last weekend on my 00' DRZ/E, when I overjumped a 70' table top and when I landed, it blew an O-ring out of the bottom of my left fork. When I got back to the truck after the race, oil was drooling out the bottom, and there was a piece of O-ring hanging out. I sent it away yesterday to get re-valved, but do I need to worry about anything internally, or was it likely just a faulty O-ring. The guy I talked to said I may have damaged something inside.

WOW, I am impressed that you can jump that far on a DRZ. I can only make it about 60ft on my XR250R. I hope your forks are ok.

Lee, my DRZ actually launches better than my previous rm250, or my bro's 99yz250, but the landings can be ugly if you don't get em' perfect. You want to see impressive, you should see the phsyco in our local circuit on an XR650. The bike is over 300lbs, he's about 250lbs, and he clears an 80ft table at one of the tracks. SCARY
I should know by tuesday if I wrecked anything else.
