My local shop got an EVS brace in and my son tried it on and didn't care for it. It was much more restrictive then the Leatt. The owner of the shop wasn't happy with it either and said he won't even sell it and will be sending it back. I curious what others think of it. I trust my shop's and son's opinion and that's good enough for me but I wonder what someone thinks that hasn't tried the Leatt. The cost difference is so wide I wouldn't expect the quality/functionality to be the same.

My riding buddy said he has an EVS and says he loves it.

Dunno where he got it, and haven't seen it yet - he emailed me last week about it.

I test drove Lazyboy's Leatt this past weekend and loved it. No issues whatsoever getting used to it, etc. I will have to trim my CP though. The shoulder pads drove the brace up into my helmet. Without the CP, I had no issues. Will probably order one here in a few minutes...

I have a bunch of the EVS' in stock & one thing I can say about them is that I'm selling more Leatt's now that people can compare them in hand.
The EVS is no more than a neck roll holder, & that shim adjustment system is crap.

Friend of mine has had an EVS for about a month now. I tried it on a while ago, (without a chest protector) and sat on his bike and it seemed pretty comfortable, and did not restrict movement.
He says he likes it, and uses it with his chest protector with no problems, although it does give him a bit of a hard time getting the two on to fit together. Might just be the chest protector though..
